Cardio-pulmonary diseases are the leading cause of morbidity worldwide. Physiotherapists play a critical role in managing patients post-cardiac surgery, post-angioplasty, COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and long-COVID.

Curriculum Highlights:

• Cardiac anatomy & physiology refresher.
• Pulmonary function tests (PFT) & exercise tolerance testing.
• ICU physiotherapy (ventilator settings, patient positioning, chest physiotherapy).
• Post-cardiac surgery rehabilitation protocols.
• Pulmonary rehab in COPD, ILD, asthma.
• Yoga & breathing exercises for lung function.
